Windows Server Administration

Support, management and hardening for your Windows servers. Fast response when something breaks, maintenance so it doesn't.

Windows servers are the operational heart of most companies: file servers, domain, ERP, business applications. When they stop, everyone stops.

What I do

  • Emergencies: stuck servers, services that won’t restart, domain errors, full disks, compromised systems.
  • Ongoing management: controlled updates, monitoring, disk space, logs, certificates.
  • Migrations and upgrades: from legacy versions to supported Windows Server, physical → virtual, on-premise → cloud (or the other way, when it makes sense).
  • Active Directory: domains, GPOs, permissions, cleaning up configurations layered over the years.
  • Backup and disaster recovery: strategies verified with test restores — not just “the backup runs”.
  • Hardening: smaller attack surface, administrative access under control.

How I work

Diagnosis first, then intervention, always traceable: you know what was done, when and why. I’d rather fix the cause than patch the symptom every month.

Frequently asked questions

Do you handle production emergencies?

Yes. Production emergencies come first — a stuck server, a service that won't restart, a failing domain. It starts with a quick remote diagnosis, then we decide together how to proceed.

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Almost all interventions happen remotely, securely and fully logged. On-site work can be arranged for special cases.

Do you support legacy servers (2012/2016)?

Yes, including migrations to supported versions. An out-of-support server is a real risk — migrating often costs less than one outage.
